Ms Smriti Kuntal is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist specialising in minimally invasive surgery, gynae-oncology, menopause and women’s health diagnostics offering personalised care with compassion and expertise.
About us
Ms Smriti Kuntal is an experienced Consultant Gynaecologist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where she has been caring for women since 2020. She offers private consultations to support women through all stages of life, from routine gynaecology to complex surgical care, with a special focus on minimally invasive surgery, gynae-oncology, menopause, and women’s health diagnostics.
After qualifying as a doctor in India, Ms Kuntal moved to the UK to continue her training in South Wales and South East London. She became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and completed her specialist training in London. Her dedication to advancing women’s healthcare led her to pursue a Master’s degree at University College London, where she graduated with Distinction in Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery and Robotics.
She has since completed fellowship training in gynaecological cancer (Gynae-Oncology) at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford, gained European board certification (EFOG-EBCOG), and added further expertise in gynaecology ultrasound with a diploma course.
Ms Kuntal has a certificate in menopause care from the British menopause society
Ms Kuntal is a certified colposcopist from the British society of colposcopy and cervical pathology
Alongside her clinical practice, Ms Kuntal is actively involved in teaching and training future doctors and nurses. She is passionate about improving patient care in the NHS and has presented her work at both national and international conferences.
Fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu, Ms Kuntal is committed to making women feel comfortable, heard, understood, and supported during their care.
